Port Dickson: Tepee, Eagle Ranch Resort & Camping, Batu 4 Pantai Saujana

Plz note actual date to Port Dickson was on 13-15 Nov, 2015.

picture taken the next morning

Alhamdulillah, after check in excited tengok bilik dulu sebelum pegi makan. Paling lawak, kunci pintu bilik adalah hanya kunci mangga. Jenuh gak aku nak bukak cuz mangga tu ketat kot.  Aku ngan mmber bertukar tangan gigih mencuba bukak mangga pintu.

Hujung Minggu: Island Hopping, Langkawi (Pulau Dayang Bunting, Pulau Singa Besar, Pulau Beras Basah)

Plz note actual date to Langkawi was on 7-9 Aug, 2015.

So kami tunggu kat café sambil menikmati the breathtaking seascape. Oh ye, kalu anda solo traveler pun, van akan pick up gak.

Brother ada mention kedai chicken chop dia tapi aku tak ingat nama kedai.

Hujung Minggu: Tubotel, Langkawi

Plz note actual date to Langkawi was on 7-9 Aug, 2015.

KLIA2

Kami teatime MarryBrown MamboFries before onboard

Weekend Runaway: Army Museum, Port Dickson

Plz note actual date went to Army Museum was on 20 Dec 2014.

We managed to drop by The Army Museum (Muzium Tentera Darat) before went back to KL. We didn’t aware about this museum and knew it via AAC website stated in ‘around PD’ item. The Army Museum is located next to the Malaysian Army Camp, Si Rusa. FYI, Port Dickson was officially declared as army town in 2009.

There were aircrafts welcoming us once we went through the entrance gate (free admission).  We walked ahead and witnessed a memorial of fallen heroes. Our heroes laid down their lives to safeguard our nation and to retain the sovereignty of our beloved country.

Weekend Runaway: Avillion Admiral Cove, Port Dickson

Plz note actual date went to AAC was on 19 Dec 2014.

My colleague stressed out and suddenly she said needed an urgent vacation! We planned somewhere out from KL and the nearest tranquil neighborhood was Port Dickson. It was a rush escaped fortunately we managed to book Avillion Admiral Cove (AAC), a superior rooms with breakfast via agoda.com. It cost us almost RM300 per room.

We left KL around 8.00pm on Friday night and it took around an hour to reach AAC. We use North-South Expressway (NSE) and Seremban-Port Dickson Highway (SPDH). Plz note to differentiate between AAC and Avillion PD cuz those places are nearby. Traveler may opt to ride a KTM train from KL Sentral to Seremban. Then, take a taxi to AAC and plz beware of scammers.

Day tour: Universal Studio Singapore (USS)

Plz note the actual date of this day tour was on Aug 23rd, 2014.

The must captured momento
I was holding USS revolving logo
with my two fingers
yeyy
We bought Air Asia air tickets two weeks before boarding to Singapore. It costs us RM207 return per pax. If you lucky, you may get cheaper than dat! We bought the USS entrance tickets from a stranger that we found in Backpackers Buddies Malaysia (BBM). She charged RM120 per tickets and she had two tickets. We bought both from her and another two more from travel agent (RM150 per tickets). For those, you may buy from RWSonline or for cheaper rate by coupon.

We depart at 7.40 am and it took an hour from Kuala Lumpur to Changi Airport, Singapore. We ride on three variation trains from Changi to USS and it took more or less an hour. We ride on skytrain from Changi Airport arrival hall to T2 (Terminal 2). The skytrain operates from 5am till 2.30am. [Tip1: During non-operating hours, they provided free shuttle bus service at T1 Departure Hall Door 5 (near row 14)].

Weekend Escaped: Kuala Lumpur to Kedah (Jitra-Baling-Alor Setar)

Plz note the actual date of this weekend escape was on 6-8 Jun 2014.

It has been a while i didn’t visit Kedah. I remember the last time went there was on September 2013 in Langkawi.

We took a bus from UTC KL to Jitra at 11.30 pm on 6 Jun (Friday). The journey took about 5 to 6 hours and Pancaran Matahari bus was our selection. It was double decker bus and the best thing was the bus has a plug pin in each seat except for the middle seats.

Next morning we turned up at Jitra bus station (nearby Petronas) and were picked up by our fwen. We had nasi lemak ayam berempah as our breakfast at Nasi Lemak Daun Pisang, a restaurant nearby. The visit to Kedah presently cuz we plan to attend my bestfwen wedding on 7 Jun (Saturday) at Baling. One thing I luv to share here was the journey to the wedding ceremony. It took almost 1.5 hours from Jitra to Baling. From Baling town to the bride’s house, we have to drive along a narrow path surrounded by forests and estates ambiance in the left and right side of the pathway. It was a bit creepy once we passed by rubber estate and the graveyard. Alhamdulillah, we almost reached at the wedding ceremony. We parked the car and walked through some hilly slopes. Yeyyz we arrived at the wedding ceremony eventually.

Hiking: Broga Hill

Actual hiking was on 16th February 2014

Broga Hill is located in Semenyih, Hulu Langat district and the hill is placed between a border of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. Some called Broga Hill as Bukit Lalang cuz of the grass that grows abundantly over the hill. We started hiking before dawn as we plan to witnesses sunrise on peak of the hill. It was dark and we had insufficient flash light hence we plan to share. I advise plz have your own flash light cuz atleast u can see the track clearly and able to manage danger if any.

The surrounding before we started hiking: the full moon in dark sky and a bit windy. We juz follow the grup in front of us while we talking each other and suddenly we realized that we lost in the middle of the hill cuz there is no track and we stucked in abundant rubber estate. The track should be sandy ground as stated in the photo amongst of this entry.

When reached over there, my nephews excited to play in the swimming pool while we observe taming sari revolving tower and Melaka Straits from our apartment.

At night, we dine in PakPutra Restaurant and we went for naan bread. I chose kashmiri naan with cheese which has chunky almonds, cashew nuts and raisins inside the naan bread. We added other meal such butter chicken and spicy bombay cuz tandoori chicken has been sold out.

Day tour: Cameron Highlands, Pahang (October 2013)

As I dun have a superb driving skill, I looked for a day tour service package and I found wegowithanuar. Superb driving skills is very important cuz the road to Cameron Highlands is hilly pathway, curvy slopes and winding road, plus we went there on weekend which is heavy traffic than normal day, plus raining and drizzly. Our tour member is Me, Ainee (my fwen), Jo (Australian tourist) and Balan (tour guide). 3 main towns in Cameron Highlands are Ringlet, Tanah Rata and Brinchang.

Before kept on to our next break, we went to Lata Iskandar WaterFall and trekked up through the trail provided. This waterfall is a source for local people to get water supply. Some unique souvenir such as wooden slingshot, angklung, tongkat ali and many more. Some local fruits/veges such as durian, petai, abu and others.

Trip to Langkawi Island, Kedah (September 2013)

Day 1st, our flight was delayed and we landed Langkawi Island behind schedule. From Langkawi airport, we took a coupon taxi to our lodging at Kuah town and it cost us RM25 per trip. I suggest for those who plan to Langkawi Island by flight, and wanna go to many places around the island, better to get a rental car/motorcycle as it is the most cost-effective cuz the chargers only RM170 for 3days, and you probably may get lower than dat price. Plus, we may choose the car type that comfy with us.

We checked in Riverra Inn at kuah town. We chose this accomodation as it calm and serene. As previous we did stayed at Chenang, and it was lively. The above photos were the countryside taken over there and our dinner, spicy seafood tomyam, salted fish kailan, turmeric chic, succulent crunchy squid and special bistik egg. The 24 hours mini mart and the restaurant just a few step from the lodging.

Outing to Melaka (November 2012)

This trip was on last Nov 2012, yehuu but I have time to post this en3 on today. It is not too late is it? The trip was family vacation and we stayed @ Emerald City Straits Apartment.

We went to Wild Life Theatre Melaka in the morning. This theatre presents stage show of sea lions, colorful soaring birds, various reptiles, and the unique tribes of tropical rainforest of Sarawak in a thrilling show. Ticket price is RM20 per adult and RM15 for senior citizen/children.

Before we went back, we did captured photo together with the theatre crews as our reminiscence over there.

Trip to Kuching, Sarawak (December 2012)

Day 1st, we were on AA plane from LCCT to Kuching Airport. After passengers counting session, we were advice to calm down and wait patiently cuz there is engine problem. After half an hour, we were informed to leave the plane and change to the other aircraft. As on the photo above (right), our luggages were relocated as well. Yeahaa, eventually we soared on the 100th Aircraft A320 as photo above (middle).

It was not satellite or GE image. It was some scenery taken from top. Wow, the cloud looks so fluffy! SUBHANALLAH!

When reached over there, we took a coupon taxi and asked the driver went to Liwah Hotel. For those who plan trip here, may also try Arif Hotel as it is affordable and just nearby the Kuching WaterFront. We checked in, had a lunch and rest for a while. Our first stopover was the Kuching WaterFront Bazaar @ Sarawak Steamship Building.

I found the item below, it is a kind of plants I guess and not sure wat is it and people selling it for wat purpose.

Some souvenirs I bought such as bag, kain pelekat Sarawak, tshirt, fridge magnets, various key chains and Tebaloi. Tebaloi is a popular traditional snack of Sarawak. It is also known as Sago Biscuits cuz Tebaloi’s main ingredients is Sago flour. The one I bought was distributed by FAMA of Sarawak and has 3 flavors which is Original, Pandan and Cocoa flavor.

Dine in Panettone @ KL Sentral (6 October 2012)

As we hang around KL Sentral yesterday, we bump in Panettone. Hurm, before we sat dine in, I asked the waiter standing in the entrance of Panettone, “what is the special menu or signature of this café?” The waiter smile and he offered us weekends promotion menus. He didn’t tell me the signature menu or he possibly thought we didn’t have sufficient money to pay and lazy to treat us I guess hehehe (my assumption only).

Genting Highlands (30 Sept 2012, Sunday)

We went to Genting Highlands on last Sunday as to greet a visit from a fren. We bought a Golden Package ticket cost RM58 per pax which include bus ride (return) + skyway (return) + outdoor theme park pass. The bus ride to Genting took on an hour from KL Central. Then we travel on skyway about 15 minutes I guess. All along the skyway ride, we had a chance to feel the fresh green magnificent of Equatorial Forest (Hutan Khatulistiwa/Hutan Hujan Tropika).
