Selepas sarapan, kami amik bus depan Australia Post (macam semalam). As for today, kami pegi Caversham Wildlife Park nk tengok pegang kangaroos dan koalas! Then, kami nak shopping kat Megabes Warehouse cuz semalam kan tak pat shop cuz sume market dah tutup.

Persamaan: Both picture was snapped while ride on the train
Kami ride on train ke stesen Bassendean, then amik bus 955 ataw 956 to Ellenbrook, tapi drop-off kat Whiteman Park. Caversham Wildlife Park terletak kat dalam Whiteman Park ni.

Backpackers ke Perth, Western Australia: AQWA Hillarys dan Fremantle (Day 2nd)

Plz note actual date went to Perth, WA was on 14-17 March, 2015 (4D 3N).

Selepas sarapan toast and tea, kami gerak ke AQWA (Aquarium of Western Australia).

Backpackers ke Perth, Western Australia: Halal Restaurant at Barrack St dan hangouts Kings Park Botanic Garden (Day 1st, Part 2)

Plz note actual date went to Perth, WA was on 14-17 March, 2015 (4D 3N).

Dari South Perth kami kembali semula ke Stirling Garden. Kat Barrack St ni ada tiga kedai makanan halal dan from entrance Stirling Garden to those 3 halal restaurants mengambil masa lebih kurang 5-10 minit berjalan kaki (view map).

Kengkawan travelers aku sebok bergambo
Bagi meneruskan journey to Kings Park and Botanic Garden, kami amik bus depan Allendale Square, masih lagi di jalan St Georges Terrace iaitu lebih kurang 2 minit walked dari Kangaroo Statue Stirling Garden. Leh amik bus no 24, 25, 27 dan 103 ke Kings Park. Aku sugest kowang mesti visit Kings Park and Botanic Garden ni, walau sekejap pun ok.

Backpackers ke Perth, Western Australia: Adelaide Tce, Stirling Garden, Swan Bell Tower, Old Mill, Funcatz (Day 1st, Part 1)

Plz note actual date went to Perth, WA was on 14-17 March, 2015 (4D 3N).

Pada Feb 2015, aku plan nk celeb pegi somewhere on March 2015 iaitu sebelum GST yang will be launced on April 2015. Nak pegi celeb cuz after GST implemented, traveling cost sudah tentu semakin mahal! Since this was immediate plan, aku decided Aust je le cuz murah sket and Perth area accessible by public transport.

Picture taken from AirAsia
Aku order roasted chicken and cranberry gravy as supper onboard.

Aku muntah chezzy wedges *geli kowt*, itulah dia makanan terakhir sebelum aku onboard. Sepanjang aku travel sebelum ni, tak penah lagi aku begini, first time aku muntah. Then, flite atenden tu bagi aku minyak angin cap kapak after requested. Thanks.

Alhamdulillah, we reached Perth Airport safely. For muslimah, kowg leh solat dalam parenting/nursing room.

10 Things That Shouldn’t Happen Once You Become a More Practicing Muslim

Here are a list of 10 things that shouldn’t happen as a result of you turning a new leaf and becoming a more practicing (or new) Muslim:

1. You Become Narrow Minded

This is probably one of the worst – and ironic – things that can result from you becoming a more practicing Muslim. Islam has richness and diversity embedded within its history; from its revelation to the interpretations and rulings, from great scholars and intellectuals (think: Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Malik, Imam Ash-Shafi’i & Imam Ahmad), Islam is not something that can be limited to what you have learned from one person within your community, or after watching a few videos on YouTube. Contrary to what you might think, becoming closer to Allah, subhanahu wa ta ‘ala (exalted is He), and the teachings of Islam should make you far more OPEN minded. That is, the more educated you become, the more you realize that differences of opinions within Islam are not a curse, but a blessing. They make the religion easy & practical – a stark juxtaposition to the Islam you may be viewing through your narrow lenses.

Most of the time, it’s narrow mindedness that leads individuals to do the following:

2. You Rebel Against Your Family

Now that you have seen the light, you begin to notice the sins that your family may be immersed in. How dare they not pray? Why do they not attend these lectures? Why don’t they support me – I’m following the same religion as them after all!? Why wasn’t I born into a more practicing family? Why didn’t my parents teach my Qur’an from a younger age!? Why, why, why…?

These, and many more, are thoughts that might cross your mind. But you have to remember a couple of things: a) You will probably never be able to completely change your family – especially your parents b) Humble yourself. It was only a short while ago that you were immersed in the same sins and was it not by the mercy of the Most Merciful, your plight may have never changed.

Coming closer to Allah (swt) should indeed bring you closer to your family (despite their flaws) as now you realize the great importance of kinship in Islam, and the enormous rights of your parents upon you.

Beside cash donations, any contributions or gifts such as stationaries, books, kitabs, Qur’an and tafsir were valued and beneficial for the childrens. The madrasah was a gift by Sieng Nam on 2002 as stated at the outside wall of the madrasah.

Rambler of Cambodia: Siem Reap-Angkor Archaeological Park, Cambodia Cultural Village, Siem Reap Night Market (Day 4th)

Plz note actual date went to Cambodia was on 12-16 February, 2015 (5D 4N).

After Subuh prayer we promptly went to Angkor Archaeological Park to witness the breathtaking sunrise at Angkor Wat. The pass counters were located at the main entrance on the road to Angkor Wat, and it cost USD20 per day per pax. Entry is free for all Cambodian nationals.

Plz note the validity period of the admission pass. Admission passes issued between 5.00 am and 5.00 pm are valid the same day. Admission passes issued after 5.00 pm are valid the same day (after 5.00pm) until sunset and also the next day. As per understanding, visitors may NOT buy a ticket in advance.

We didn’t manage to witness the sunrise due to cloudy weather or perhaps we were waiting the sunrise at the wrong position hehee.
