Recipe: Popia Rolls

2pcs spring onions, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
Cabbage, cut into fine strips
Carrot, cut into thin strips
300g minced chicken
1-2 pcs potato, cut into small dice
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon whitepepper
>< 20 popia wrapper
1 egg, beaten

Heat some oil in a frying pan, add onions, garlic, chicken, potato and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring constantly. Then, add cabbage, carrots and stir well until vegetables cooked.

Turn off heat. Add salt, sugar and pepper, stir ingredients to mix well and let it cool. Brush/soak each side of the wrappers with water. Place 1 tablespoon of mixture onto each wrapper, turn sides in first, roll and seal each with beaten egg.

Heat extra oil in frying pan. Deep-fry a few rolls at a time until golden/blonde. Place and drain on absorbent paper. Serve with fav sweet chilli sauce! Yummies!
